Srijan Scam | When government issued check bounced

In Bhagalpur district of Bihar there was a lady named Manorama who ran a scam so elaborate that it was disclosed only after her death. The scam is estimated to be over ₹1000 crore and high ranking government officials were involved. The scam came to light after the DM issued a cheque and it bounced due to lack of funds.
